Enhanced Date Selection
Basic date pickers weren’t going to cut it. So, we decided to integrate a third-party date picker—but with heavy customization. We introduced color-coded days (red for non-working days like holidays and weekends), optimal spacing for clarity, and the ability to select multiple dates at once for bulk time entries. Time is precious, and we were determined to save it.
Sophisticated Time Picker: Built In-House
The time picker was a labor of love. We couldn’t find one that truly suited our needs, so we built our own from scratch. The in-house solution is flexible and customizable—color options, adjustable time intervals, and a dual-time feature for precision. Plus, the subtle box-shadow effect? A little touch that adds a professional aesthetic we knew would make a difference.

But we didn’t stop there. We built in checks and balances to reduce errors. If someone tried to enter time on a non-working day, a prompt would appear—no more accidental entries. Overlapping times are flagged in real-time, and we even made sure users couldn’t enter more than 24 hours of work at once. It wasn’t easy, but we knew it was worth it to prevent mistakes.
We also tackled bulk operations—something we knew HR managers desperately needed. With just a few clicks, you can apply time entries across multiple dates at once. And for leave management? A simple checkbox makes it clear whether someone is taking a full-day leave.
